Candle Care

Moulded Candle Care:

Always trim the wick to 1/2 cm before each use to prevent the flame from becoming too large.

Keep the candle out of drafts and away from any flammable objects.

Burn the candle until the wax has melted all the way to the edges of the candle, to prevent tunneling.

Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface or a candle holder to catch any wax drips.

Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Extinguish the candle by using a snuffer or by gently blowing out the flame.

Remove any debris or wick trimmings from the melted wax pool before relighting the candle.

Allow the wax to cool completely before moving or relighting the candle.

Using a plate or a candle holder underneath the molded candle can help to catch any wax drips and protect your surfaces from heat damage. This is especially important if you're burning a large or long-lasting candle, or if you're burning multiple candles at once.

Methods to prepare your vessel for refill

Oven Method:

1 Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).

2 Place your cleaned candle vessel on a baking sheet with the opening facing up.

3 Once the oven is preheated, place the baking sheet with the candle vessel in the oven.

4 Bake for 10-15 minutes or until all the wax has melted.

5 Carefully remove the baking sheet from the oven and use a paper towel to wipe out any remaining wax.

6 Wash the vessel with warm, soapy water to remove any remaining residue.

7 Rinse the vessel thoroughly and allow it to dry completely before bringing it in for a refill.

Hairdryer Method:

1 Place your cleaned candle vessel on a heat-resistant surface or towel.

2 Use a hairdryer on its hottest setting to blow hot air into the vessel.

3 As the wax melts, it will start to pool at the bottom of the vessel.
Use a paper towel to wipe away the melted wax.

4 Continue using the hairdryer to melt and remove the remaining wax until the vessel is completely clean.

5 Wash the vessel with warm, soapy water to remove any remaining residue.

6 Rinse the vessel thoroughly and allow it to dry completely before bringing it in for a refill.

Note: Be careful not to overheat the vessel or use the hairdryer too close to the glass,
as this can cause the vessel to crack or break.

Freezer Method:

1 Once your candle has burned down, place the vessel in the freezer for a few hours.

2 Use a butter knife or spoon to remove any remaining wax from the vessel.

3 Wash the vessel with warm, soapy water to remove any remaining residue.

4 Rinse the vessel thoroughly and allow it to dry completely before bringing it in for a refill.
